Once again this year HomeExchange.com is giving members a one year free membership to gift to someone else. The only requirements: the recipient must be new to this home exchange network, and it has to be redeemed by January 31, 2017.
This is a good gimmick by HomeExchange.com to increase their membership numbers. Most sites have a few weeks or maybe even a few months of free trial membership, but joining for a year greatly increases the chances someone will do a swap and get hooked on home exchange. Of course I’m sure this also leads to more inactive members on the site, but overall I don’t mind if some of these new folks stick around and increase the pool of homes that might want to swap with me.
So in the spirit of sharing, I’m offering my free membership up to readers. If you want to try out HomeExchange.com for free for a year, you can either comment on this post or tweet to me @sharetraveler and I’ll select one person randomly to win the membership.
