These days new sharing economy travel companies launch every week, and I sometimes discover established businesses that I had missed. All of these get added to my spreadsheet of sharing economy travel services. Here’s the summary for November.

Opitrip – founded in 2014, this is a search engine for peer to peer travel services including rental lodging, tours and activities and ridesharing. They consolidate a few different websites for each of these services.

BookaFriend – founded this year, this new service connects travelers with locals who will spend a half day showing you unique parts of their city. These are not specific tours, more like hanging out time with a local showing you the city. Each booking is customized by the local and the traveler together.

Cargo2Share – crowdsourced shipping company based in Russia with trips mostly to/from Eastern Europe at the moment. Appears to have launched in 2016

Sharemine – launched a service in the UK for peer to peer car rentals on October 19. This platform from Omoove offers auto rentals and ridesharing, among other services. They currently serve Italy, France, Spain and the UK.

Campanda – peer to peer campervan and motorhome rentals. Campanda claims over 30,000 RVs for rent in 50 countries. This Germany company was founded in 2013, but I’ve just come across them.
